LUX Audience Award 2023, reminder of EU values against backdrop of rollback of rights

On Tuesday 27 June, the European Parliament presented the LUX Audience Award 2023 to the film “Close” by Lukas Dhont (see EUROPE B13210A34). It was an opportunity for the director, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and MEPs to stress the importance of defending European values.
