Generalised Scheme of Preferences, European Parliament and EU Council suspend negotiations following persistent disagreements

The European Parliament’s negotiators on the Generalised Scheme of Preferences (GSP) called for negotiations with the EU Council to be suspended at the end of a seventh meeting (‘trilogue’) on Tuesday 27 June.
