Over 60 major companies call for support for EU regulation on nature restoration for commercial reasons

Lobbying is intensifying ahead of the vote by the European Parliament’s Environment Committee (ENVI) on the proposed EU regulation on nature restoration (see EUROPE B13197A7), scheduled for 15 June.

For commercial reasons, over 60 of Europe’s largest consumer, financial and energy companies, including Nestlé, Unilever and IKEA, called on Monday 12 June for the troubled proposal to be saved.
