EU Council should opt to hold European elections in early June 2024

15/05/2023 (Agence Europe) – Member States’ ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) should be asked on Wednesday 17 May to confirm that the European elections will take place between Thursday 6 June and Sunday 9 June 2024. After discussions on alternative dates, the Member States did not reach a unanimous agreement to change the timetable enshrined in the EU Election Law.
