ACER approves Norway’s inclusion in electricity capacity calculation zones

12/04/2023 (Agence Europe) – The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) has approved the inclusion of Norway in the European electricity capacity calculation areas, it said in a statement on Wednesday 11 April. This approval follows a proposal from the Transmission System Operators (TSOs) on 13 October 2022, after the Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management Regulation (CACM) became binding on Norway in 2021.
