On Tuesday 21 February, the European Innovation Council (EIC) announced the launch of the ‘Tech to Market’ (T2M) programme to provide the beneficiary ‘EIC Pathfinder’ and ‘EIC Transition’ projects with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills and concrete support for the commercial exploitation of research results. This support will include business start-up training, expert advice and mentoring services.
The programme is divided into two strands combining two complementary approaches.
The first component, called ‘Tech to Market Entrepreneurship’, will provide beneficiaries with training and business development courses to help them develop a position and a viable business model for their future undertakings.
The second strand, called ‘Tech to Market Venture Building’, will offer services ranging from the identification of promising business ideas, to the creation and development of businesses.
An information session will be organised by the EIC on 15 March, from 10:30 to 11:30 (Central European Time). The first calls will be published shortly.
