06/02/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published, on 3 February, a guide to help EU Member States submit 2023 monitoring data on chemical substances in food and feed. This section deals with the results of analysis of food and feed samples taken during control activities carried out to monitor residues of pesticides and veterinary medicinal products, contaminants, food additives and chemicals from food contact materials (FCM). This guide provides advice on how to use the Standard Sample Description (SSD2) data model. This advice includes specific technical and legislative requirements.
