Negotiators from the European Parliament and the EU Council will meet for the third time, on Wednesday 14 December, to potentially reach an agreement on EU Green Bonds(see EUROPE B12954A28).
According to a European source, the compromise is “possible, but not certain”. It is “all about the trade-off between the flexibility pocket that the EU Council wants and market-based transparency that the Parliament wants”, the source explained on Tuesday 13 December.
