13/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Tuesday 13 December that the non-profit organisation European Health Management Association (EHMA) and other partners have launched, in the framework of the Pact for Skills and with the support of the Commission, a multi-stakeholder partnership to re-skill and upskill the EU’s health workforce. The Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights, Nicolas Schmit, hopes that this will help address the shortage of health workers, as will the proposal to make 2023 the European Year of Skills.
