MEP Sophie in ‘t Veld wants EU moratorium on use of spyware

Dutch MEP Sophie in ‘t Veld (Renew Europe) wants an EU moratorium on the use of spyware, a set of common standards to regulate eavesdropping via spyware, a common definition of national security and new rules for the export of dual-use goods and technologies, such as software that must not be diverted from its primary purpose.
