MEPs approve political agreement on regulation concerning European standardisation organisations’ decisions

On Thursday, 27 October, MEPs on the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) green-lit the interinstitutional agreement on the regulation as regards the decisions of European standardisation organisations (38 votes in favour, 1 against).

As a reminder, the EU Council’s mandate was amended to incorporate the European Parliament’s demands and facilitate the negotiations, which were easily concluded in a single interinstitutional meeting. According to the...
