Modernisation of justice, ‘Azmani’ report setting up a collaboration platform for Joint Investigation Teams adopted in European Parliament committee

The European Parliament moves forward on the ‘modernisation of justice’ package presented by the Commission in December 2021 (see EUROPE B12844A12). MEPs in the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) unanimously adopted (56 votes in favour) the draft report by Malik Azmani (Renew Europe, Dutch) on the regulation establishing a cooperation platform for Joint Investigation Teams (JITs).
