Commission consults to review list of reporting requirements for ships at ports of call

14/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission opened a public consultation on Monday 13 June on port call reporting formalities in the maritime transport sector. In concrete terms, the European Commission intends to amend the list of reporting obligations imposed by the EU, national and international legislation when ships call into ports within the European Union. This delegated regulation also intends to establish a new data set for the European Maritime Single Window system through a comprehensive list of data elements, each with a unique definition and precise technical characteristics.
