24/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – In the framework of the LIFE programme, the European Commission has launched a specific annual call for projects (LIFE-2022-PLP-NATURA) to serve the objectives of the LIFE Nature and Biodiversity sub-programme, recalled the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) on Monday 23 May. This call is open until 7 September. Applicant projects should improve the quantity and quality of bird-related data in Europe, in order to contribute to EU policy objectives under the EU Wild Birds Directive 2009/147/EC and the Biodiversity Strategy for 2030. The projects awarded under the call should have concrete and quantified impacts at the end of their implementation. They will be eligible for funding.
