European Parliament approves temporary removal of tariffs on imports from Ukraine

MEPs approved by a large majority (515 votes in favour, 32 against and 11 abstentions) the European Commission’s proposal to further liberalise trade with Ukraine. The regulation proposed by the Commission on 27 April will lift all tariffs on imports from Ukraine as well as tariff quotas for one year (see EUROPE B12940A3).
