31/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 31 March, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg presented his Annual Report for 2021, covering all aspects of the Alliance’s work over the past year. “The annual report reflects our work to strengthen NATO’s deterrence and defence, support our partners and adapt for the future,” Stoltenberg told the media. Specifically, the 154-page report reviews NATO’s activities and achievements, including the June summit in Brussels, decisions taken in the framework of the NATO 2030 initiative (see EUROPE 12740/1), the Allies’ defence investments, and the organisation's cooperation with partners, including Ukraine. The year 2021 was marked in particular by the withdrawal of the Allies from Afghanistan. See the report: https://aeur.eu/f/121 (CG)
