Valdis Dombrovskis talks about opening WTO consultations against Chinese trade blocking of Lithuanian products

The European Commissioner for Trade, Valdis Dombrovskis, spoke on Monday 10 January about opening consultations at the WTO against the Chinese trade blockade of Lithuanian products.

He said that the Commission was still examining the Chinese actions towards Lithuania (see EUROPE B12849A2) and was in constant contact with both countries. However, he added that his services were considering the possibility of opening consultations at the World Trade Organization (WTO) on this issue.
