16/12/2021 (Agence Europe) – The President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, the Slovenian Prime Minister, Janez Janša, on behalf of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, signed, on Thursday 16 December in the margins of the European Summit, the interinstitutional declaration setting out the EU’s legislative priorities for 2022 (see EUROPE 12852/20). These priorities are based on the following axes: the ‘European Green Deal’, a Europe fit for the digital age, an economy that works for people, a stronger Europe in the world, the promotion of our European way of life, strengthening our democracy and defending our common European values.
