UK supports goal of carbon neutrality for global shipping by 2050

Brussels, 13/09/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 13 September, the UK announced its support for the target of zero global shipping emissions by 2050. “This would be a significant increase in ambition for a sector that currently accounts for 3% of global emissions”, the UK Department for Transport said in a statement.
