16/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) announced on Tuesday 15 June the launch of a call for proposals for the Enterprise Europe Network for 2022. The grants for the current network expire at the end of 2021. As a result, the European Commission is now seeking proposals for the next network, for the period from 1 January 2022 to 30 June 2025. The amounts committed come to 164.5 million euros and are to contribute to the Single Market Programme (SMP) (see EUROPE 12708/10). Objectives: - facilitating SMEs’ access to the Single Market, but also to third country markets; - supporting innovation; - support industrial hubs and ecosystems. The network has been in existence since 2008 and has already helped 2.9 million businesses with their growth strategies. (PH)
