REACT-EU, European Commission approves modification of French and Czech operational programmes

20/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission approved, on Thursday 20 May, the modification of two Operational Programmes (OPs) of the European Regional Development Fund for France and the Czech Republic, in the framework of the REACT-EU initiative. The Czech Republic is expected to receive an additional €834.8 million to support its health and social care system and the energy efficiency of its infrastructure. In France, the change in question concerns Brittany, which should benefit from €74 million to support the green and digital transitions. Thus, modifications to operational programmes have been ongoing since the beginning of April (see EUROPE 12692/10) under this €47.5 billion instrument (see EUROPE 12604/2). (PH)
