Commission closes seven out of ten infringement proceedings against Package Travel Directive

The European Commission announced on Friday 30 October that it has decided to close the infringement proceeding against the Czech Republic, Greece, France, Italy, Poland and Portugal concerning package travel.

Last July, the Commission sent a letter of formal notice to ten states on the grounds that their national rules violated the EU Directive on the subject (see EUROPE B12520A15).
