Commission proposes to extend EU/Cook Islands Agreement for one year

The current protocol allows the EU fleet to fish for tuna in Cook Islands waters up to an indicative level of annual fishing opportunities of 7,000 tonnes. The current protocol expires on 13 October. This extension will allow a new agreement to be negotiated. Link to the proposal: https://bit.ly/3ctVQeL
