Several EU justice ministers, MEPs, representatives of EU agencies and civil society were gathered to discuss the implementation of the new 2020-2025 strategy for crime victims’ rights (see EUROPE 12513/11). On the same day, participants also inaugurated the new Victims' Rights Platform, which will bring together the Commission and key actors such as the European Network on Victims' Rights (ENVR) as well as relevant EU agencies and civil society. The platform will meet at least once a year and on an ad hoc basis if necessary. (MF)
