22/09/2020 (Agence Europe) – Despite the postponement of the EU/AU summit to 2021 due to the coronavirus, on 29 October the EU Development Ministers will continue the discussion on the future strategic partnership between the two continents, as the foreign affairs ministers did on Monday 21 September (see EUROPE 12564/4). This will be one of the important topics of the informal meeting in virtual format convened by the German Federal Minister for Cooperation, and Development, Gerd Müller, and the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. The European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, will take part in this videoconference, which will also serve to prepare the EU Foreign Affairs/Development Council of the EU scheduled for November.
