Non-EU citizens residing in EU suffer from a higher unemployment rate than EU citizens, according to Eurostat

07/07/2020 (Agence Europe)In 2019, in the majority of EU regions, the employment rate for non-EU citizens aged 20-64 was 59.8%, compared with 75.5% for citizens from other Member States and 73.8% for nationals. In 31 regions (out of 171 for which reliable data are available), less than half of citizens of non-Member States were employed.
