Commission promises to better monitor suspected cases of anti-migrant violence reported at external borders

The European Commission will work on a new fundamental rights monitoring mechanism to verify incidents of "refoulement" or other violence affecting migrants reported at all EU external borders. A mechanism that could find its place in the Migration Pact expected in September.
