Videoconference meeting of Ministers responsible for Sport. – Exchange of views on the resumption of physical activities in a safe way for citizens and athletes (resumption of physical activity, training, sports competitions, presence of the public). – Impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the sports sector and possible support at European and national level to promote the resumption of the sector. – Cooperation between Member States, the EU and the sport movement to ensure recovery and build resilience to unforeseen developments.

Committee activities. – AGRI: Examination, with Budget Commissioner Johannes Hahn, of the impact of the new proposal for a multiannual financial framework on the ongoing negotiations on the Common Agricultural Policy. *Votes: +No objections to delegated acts on: – the derogation from the delegated Commission Regulation as regards the fruit and vegetable sector and from the delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1149 as regards the wine sector, due to the Covid-19 pandemic; – the delegated Commission Regulation on temporary exceptional measures derogating from certain provisions of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 to remedy the market disturbances in the fruit and vegetables and wine sectors caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the measures put in place in this respect.

Videoconference meeting of Home Affairs Ministers. – Discussion on a coordinated and non-discriminatory lifting of restrictions on the free movement of European citizens between Member States and the criteria and measures to be applied regarding the entry of nationals of non-Member States following the improvement of health conditions and the gradual lifting of restrictions. – Any other business: Progress on current legislative proposals and report on the EU-US Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial videoconference; presentation of the work programme of the incoming German EU Council Presidency; state of implementation of the interoperability regulations.
