29/05/2020 (Agence Europe) – In our article on the details of the REACT-EU initiative (see EUROPE 12495/3), we wrote that the REACT-EU package makes provision for a total of 55 billion euros of additional funds for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) for the period 2021-2027 (see EUROPE 12494/2), whereas the budget period was 2014-2020. We have been reminded that current programmes can actually be used until 2023 under the N+3 rule, a parameter we omitted. (PH)
