Regulation on mutual recognition enters into force

20/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – The new rules on mutual recognition (Regulation 2019/515) of goods legally put on the market in another Member State started to apply throughout the European Union on Sunday 19 April. Under the new rules, companies can complete a voluntary 'mutual recognition declaration' to prove to the competent national authorities that their products are legally marketed in another Member State.
