07/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – The next meeting of the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties is not expected to take place before 23 April, according to a provisional timetable. As regards the agenda, a debate with the Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, is also in view. At this stage, according to one source, the committee coordinators were asked to identify priority topics on which to move forward and to define the method, between written procedures or meetings. No trilogue is scheduled for April at this stage, notably on the still blocked dossier of the regulation on the removal of terrorist content online, say two sources. Trilogues were also due to take place at this time on the EU travel information authorisation system, ETIAS. (SP with MF)
