10/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the European Parliament, on Tuesday 10 March, made a number of adjustments to its working timetable. The week of 16-22 March will thus be a white week for MEPs, with no activity. They are scheduled to resume their parliamentary activities on Monday 23rd. As regards future plenary sessions, the one scheduled for 30 March to 2 April will finally be reduced to two days (1 and 2 April) and will be held in Brussels rather than in Strasbourg. The mini-plenary meeting in Brussels on 22 and 23 April, which was scheduled in the initial timetable, is, however, maintained. Finally, one last change: whereas the second week of April was scheduled to be devoted to external parliamentary activities, it will finally be a white week for MEPs. The schedule may of course be subject to further changes as the situation evolves. To view the revised schedule: http://bit.ly/336Qf9h (DG)
