ESA places four new orders for Europe's Ariane 6 launcher

10/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – Arianespace announced on Tuesday March 10 that the European Space Agency (ESA), on behalf of the European Commission (DG Grow), had finalised a pre-order for four new launches using the Ariane 6 rocket. These launches, scheduled for January 2022, will put eight satellites into orbit to complete the constellation of the Galileo European navigation programme and to replace certain satellites.
