Trade negotiations with Wellington still on fast track, more sluggish with Canberra

The reports of the 4^th and 5^th rounds of negotiations to seal free trade agreements between the European Union and, respectively, Australia and New Zealand, were published by the European Commission on Thursday 25 July (see EUROPE B12292A23).

The summary of the discussions with Wellington makes it possible to envisage a conclusion before the end of the year, as suggested by the leaders of both sides at their last summit in January (see EUROPE B12180A5).
