Trade unions and MEPs rise up against homophobia in Poland

26/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), on Wednesday 24 July, denounced and expressed that it was “appalled” that the Polish newspaper Gazeta Polska had distributed stickers “LGBT free zone”. An activity, according to the ETUC, that can only divide Polish society and increase violence against members of the LGBT community and that violates EU law on discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation.
