Several Member States criticised for non-compliance with legislation on biodiversity, noise, water

The European Commission decided on Thursday 25 July to send reasoned opinions (second stage of the infringement procedure) to several Member States that are not complying with EU environmental legislation. All will have two months to comply if they want to avoid being brought before the Court of Justice.
