Economic and Financial Affairs Council. - Climate: Exchange of views on the financial and taxation aspects of the Commission Communication ‘A Clean Planet for All’. - FTT: recent developments in enhanced cooperation on financial transaction tax. - European Semester 2019: Debate on the economic and financial aspects of the country specific recommendations of the European Semester 2019; adoption of a decision allowing Spain to exit the excessive deficit procedure; review of the main outcomes of the G20 Finance meeting in Japan on 8-9 June; possible approval of a progress report on the banking union and assessment of the implementation of the action plan to combat non-performing loans in Europe.
  • Luxembourg. Council of the EU. Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council *Health: - Antimicrobial resistance: adoption of conclusions on combating this phenomenon. - Health investments: debate on the use of EU funds to support these investments. - Miscellaneous: progress on the proposal for a regulation on health technology assessment.
