Dismissed action against ECB by private investors who suffered losses during restructuring of Greek debt in 2012

On Thursday 23 May, the General Court of the European Union dismissed the action for compensation in Case T-107/17 brought against the European Central Bank (ECB) by private investors who suffered losses as a result of the restructuring of the Greek public debt in 2012, considering that this restructuring did not constitute a disproportionate and intolerable infringement of the right to property.
