EU Council does not oppose delegated acts on certain ecodesign requirements

The EU Council of Ministers has decided not to oppose the adoption of certain delegated acts on the energy labelling of certain household appliances (see EUROPE B12211A11). As a result, unless the European Parliament objects, the Commission may adopt the proposed measure. 

A regulation covers refrigeration appliances with a direct sales function (commercial refrigerators). As of March 2021, appliances will have to comply with energy efficiency requirements.
