02/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – As a fourth round of trade negotiations between the European Union and Chile is taking place in Santiago from 1 to 5 April to modernise their trade relations, the European Commission has published new textual proposals. This fourth round of negotiations covers virtually all chapters of the negotiations on a modernised agreement, including trade in goods, customs and trade facilitation, technical barriers to trade, transparency, services, digital commerce, energy and raw materials, sustainable development, intellectual property rights, geographical indications, trade and gender, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, SMEs, public procurement and the fight against corruption.
