MEPs approve international agreement on olive oil and table olives

The European Parliament's Committee on International Trade (INTA) has given its consent to an EU Council decision on an international agreement on olive oil and table olives dating from 2015 (see EUROPE B11344A10), Tuesday 2 April. 

In a debate the day before, MEPs underlined their disappointment at the delay in forwarding a draft law from 2017 to the European Parliament, and at the lack of transparency in the negotiations between the other two institutions.
