Golan Heights are not part of Israeli territory, reminds the EU

On Friday 22 March, the European Union stressed that the Golan Heights were not part of Israeli territory. This followed an announcement made the day before by US President Donald Trump, who promised recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which the Hebrew state had conquered from Syria in 1967.
