Crisis in milk sector is not over, according to MEPs of European Parliament committee

Members of the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture lamented on Thursday 7 March that the crisis in the milk sector had not yet ended. 

The European Milk Board (EMB) presented its 'Market Responsibility Programme' (flexible supply regulation to ensure fair prices) and indicated that there was still a gap of 10 cents between production costs (45 cents) and the price paid to producers (35).
