21/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – The Member States' ambassadors to the European Union ('Coreper') gave the green light on Wednesday 20 February to two interinstitutional agreements between representatives of the European Parliament and the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The first concerns aid for the implementation of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) core network through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), in the event that a Brexit without agreement is to take place (see EUROPE 12190). The second concerns the revision of Directive 2009/33/EC to stimulate public procurement of clean vehicles (see EUROPE 12192). These two texts must now be given a formal green light by Parliament and the Council. (LT)
