Osmani warns against a 'disastrous' failure to open EU accession negotiations

The Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs of Northern Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, said on Wednesday 20 February that a failure by the Council to agree to the opening of his country's accession negotiations in June would be "disastrous".

The General Affairs Council is expected to decide on 18 June on the opening of negotiations with Northern Macedonia and Albania (EUROPE 12049).
