Netherlands has two and a half years to end electric fishing licences

On Wednesday evening, 13 February, representatives of the Council and the European Parliament reached a political agreement in Strasbourg on technical fishing measures and the ban on electric trawl fishing from 1 July 2021(see EUROPE 12191).
