European Parliament endorses interinstitutional agreement strengthening mutual recognition of non-harmonised goods

On Thursday, 14 February, the European Parliament gave the Interinstitutional Agreement on strengthening the rules on mutual recognition of non-harmonised goods, such as furniture, footwear, tableware, bicycles, and jewellery, the green light by a large majority (540 votes in favour, 52 against, and 9 abstentions) (see EUROPE 12144).
