Mario Draghi calls for strengthening of EMU

Speaking to MEPs in the European Parliament's Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee on Monday 28 January, Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank (ECB), called for a deepening of Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) and spoke out in favour of the reforms currently under consideration. 

This exchange with MEPs took place on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the entry into force of the single currency (see EUROPE 12165).
