Estonia singled out for additional requirements for crossing EU's external borders

25/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – The Commission sent a reasoned opinion to Estonia on 24 January because it imposes additional obligations on travellers crossing the EU's external border, contrary to the 2016 Schengen Borders Code, a statement said. Estonia asks travellers wishing to leave the EU to reserve a place in a queue to cross the border and to pay for the reservation and use of the waiting area.
