Radiation protection, Commission calls on Italy to transpose EU legislation

25/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission decided on Thursday 24 January to send a reasoned opinion to Italy requesting the transposition of the new Basic Safety Standards Directive (Directive 2013/59/Euratom). Member States had until 6 February 2018 to transpose it. This text modernises and consolidates the radiation protection legislation.
